Problem
Our client, a £300m distribution business was suffering from poor sales performance and a new dynamic CEO had just been appointed to turn around the business.
To deliver the new value creation plan the business needed to create new ways of working which involved new technologies including enhanced reporting down to SKU level.
As part of a larger transformational delivery team Williams Bain supplied an Interim Data Scientist who had a proven track record in using R and Python to build best in class models which in turn would develop into machine learning capability across the whole organisation.
