Williams Bain is a recruitment business. We are not a management consultancy ourselves however we supply independent consultants to the management consulting Industry when they need bench strength or specialist skills.

Consulting to Delivery

These pieces of consulting work are usually a precursor to an experienced Interim Manager or transformation team delivering an enterprise wide programme that is board sponsored.

In many situations our experienced Interim Managers who have a consulting background will deliver the consulting part of the assignment before starting on the delivery part of the assignment, this approach ensures continuity for the investors, board and employees.

Our independent consultants can be hired initially for a short period of time with staged gateways for any extensions. This means that as a client you remain in control of spend and deliverables.

What is the difference between you and the Big4?

We utilise experienced independent consultants who come with a toolkit and methodology, you will interview each consultant based on the business requirement. Our consultants move from theory to hands on delivery very quickly – usually in less than 6 weeks so you can see the value that’s been added to your P&L and balance sheet.

When do I hire a consultant?

When you know that you have a problem but can’t 100% explain what it is. Our consultants are brilliant at helping a board see what’s possible in terms of solutions to presenting problems, they do this through using anecdotal examples gained from their consultancy and industry experience.

Do you compete with the Big4 consultancies?

We can deliver a lot of the same outcomes, especially at an operational delivery level however we offer a different service. Our consultants are hands-on, they are paid on a daily basis and our clients do not have to utilise them for a set period of time – we operate just like a staffing agency.
